Hi, I'm Jennifer, owner and lead designer at Petals a floral design firm in Boulder, Colorado.  Along with my husband and two children, I  grow my own organic blooms using the greenest and most sustainable processes available.

This blog is where I explore topics from floral design, wedding planning, organic farming and gardening, sustainable living, and our family's quest to find the perfect farm!

I'm so glad you are here!

Italian Destination Wedding

At Petals Flower Farm and design studio, we specialize in creating unique and unforgettable experiences for our clients, especially when it comes to weddings. We were thrilled to be a part of Mary-Therese and Joel's special day in Todi, Umbria in central Italy. As dual citizens, we have a deep understanding and appreciation for the beauty and culture of Italy, and we love nothing more than sharing it with our clients.

For this wedding, the couple wanted a simple and elegant floral design that incorporated fresh greens and whites, using locally sourced and seasonal elements. We used a combination of white lisianthus, white roses, olive branches, rosemary, eucalyptus, and Italian ruscus to create their dream look. The result was stunning and perfectly complemented the historic charm of the villa.

For the reception, the couple opted for a table runner made of fresh greenery with candles to create a romantic and intimate atmosphere in the villa's courtyard. It was a beautiful sight to behold, and we were honored to be a part of making their vision a reality.

Whether you're planning a wedding in Italy or staying closer to the Rocky Mountains, we would love to help you bring your dream to life. At our design studio, we take pride in creating unique and personalized experiences that reflect your style and personality. Contact us today to learn more about how we can help you transform your special day into an unforgettable event. You can see more photos from their special day here.
